The Great Pancake Mishap
Last Sunday, I wanted to surprise my family with a big breakfast. I decided to make pancakes, which I do not usually do. I followed the recipe carefully, or so I thought. I mixed all the ingredients and poured the batter into the hot pan. The first pancake looked very strange. It was huge, uneven, and burnt on one side, but still raw in the middle! My brother walked into the kitchen, saw it, and started laughing. What is that? he asked. I tried again, and the second one was better, but it took me ages to make a decent stack. In the end, we all had pancakes, but it was a very funny, messy morning.
