Sometimes the most meaningful progress is invisible. We celebrate promotions, awards, and achievements, but we rarely notice the quiet victories: becoming more patient, forgiving someone, or learning to stay calm during difficult conversations. Those changes may never appear on a résumé, yet they shape the kind of person we become.

There was a time when I thought confidence meant speaking without hesitation. Now I associate confidence more with being comfortable saying, "I don't know." A willingness to admit uncertainty often opens the door to better conversations and deeper learning.

The older I become, the less interested I am in proving that I'm right. Instead, I find greater satisfaction in discovering something I didn't know before. Curiosity has gradually become more rewarding than certainty.
