I've started listening to podcasts while preparing dinner. Cooking feels much more enjoyable now because I'm always learning something interesting at the same time. Sometimes I even stay in the kitchen a little longer just to finish an episode.

My local library recently introduced a "mystery book" shelf. Each book is wrapped in paper, so you can't see the cover or the title. You only get a few clues about the story. I borrowed one last week, and it turned out to be one of the best novels I've read this year.

I recently joined a community choir, even though I had never sung in front of other people before. I was nervous during the first practice, but everyone was so welcoming that I quickly felt comfortable. Now rehearsals have become one of the highlights of my week.
