Last Saturday I visited a farmers' market for the first time. One farmer explained how different kinds of tomatoes can have completely different flavors. I ended up buying three varieties and had a great time comparing them at home.

A friend invited me to a board game night, even though I had never played most of the games before. Everyone patiently explained the rules, and by the end of the evening I was laughing and planning to join the next event.

I found an old recipe card inside one of my grandmother's cookbooks. The handwriting was a little difficult to read, but I managed to make the cookies successfully. My family said they tasted just like the ones she used to bake.
