The Early Bird
My alarm clock went off at 5:30 AM today. Ugh! I usually wake up much later, but I promised my friend, Tom, I’d help him move. He lives across town, so we had to start early. I made a quick coffee and grabbed a banana. The traffic was surprisingly light, which was good. When I got there, Tom was still in his pajamas, drinking tea. He looked surprised to see me so punctual! We laughed, and then spent the whole morning lifting boxes. I was tired, but it felt good to help a friend. I'll probably sleep well tonight!
